October 2-8, 1968: He performed at the Honolulu International Center (now known as the Blaisdell Center) on October 5 with a free performance at Thomas Square afterwards. Hendrix visited Hawaii on three separate occasions: (Guitar World, March 2000 issue, 'Readers Poll-2000'). He was recently voted the "Best Guitarist of the Millennium" and his 1967 debut album "Are You Experienced" was voted the "Best Album of the Millennium".
